The Sea Otter Classic (April 15-18 in Monterey, CA) is essentially THE event that kicks off the cycling season in United States. The event attracts thousands of spectators and competitors, all eager to ride some great stuff, fondle the newest bike gear and see their favorite athletes compete. In addition to being a Dirt Rag/Bicycle Times 2010 Word Tour stop, there’s a slew of other interesting things going down…like being able to drink a beer poured from a solar-powered refrigerated beer trailer from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

While you’ll be able to watch the pros race, chances are you’re not going to be able to actually do a ride with them…unless you’re creative and/or lucky. Lezyne is running a special contest, in which the winners will be afforded the opportunity to do a ride at Sea Otter with Rocky Mountain pro riders and Olympians Geoff Kabush and Andreas Hestler. Winners will also receive a Lezyne hydration pack stuffed with $300 worth of Lezyne loot: an Alloy Drive, SV10, Metal Kit, Saber Levers, Speed Drive CO2 as well as a set of Power Cages and a M-Caddy for your bike!

The contest is a competition consisting of five unique categories where you’re challenged to really flex your creative muscle. One male and one female winner will be chosen from each category:
