Riding Rotura Site of 2010 Singlespeed World ChampionshipRotorua, New Zealand will host the 2010 Singlespeed World Championships on October, 23rd, 2010.

Actually, SSWC10 will be the finale of a week-long Rotura Bike Festival that will kick off on October 16th and run through race day on the 23rd. Rotura was the host venue for the 2006 UCI Mountain Bike & Trials Championships, and the site offers kilometers of trails in the magnificent Whakarewarewa Forest.

Registration for SSWC10 will open at midnight (NZ summer time) on December 31st, 2009 at www.sswc10nz.com. The promoters promise to have a full website up by the time entries open, but in the meantime you will find a link to subscribe to the event’s email newsletter, a link to their Facebook page, and an email link to their NZ travel guru.
