Interbike Mini-Review: Electra Ticino 18D
Originally posted on October 15, 2009 at 19:29 pm During Interbike week, we borrowed a variety of bikes from companies to ride from our rental house to the indoor show, plus to parties and happenings around town after dark. Not only did this make our experience much more enjoyable, it allowed us a closer look at some of the latest offerings in the realm of transportation and utility bikes. Over the next couple of weeks, we will be presenting our impressions of our time with these bikes as mini-reviews on the Bicycle Times website.
Electra has a new line of bikes for 2010. Ticino joins the family with seven men’s models and five women’s models, from the basic singlespeed Ticino 1 to the top-of-the-line Ticino 20D with a Shimano 105 grouppo. All models are equipped with fenders, and share the relaxed, “foot-forward” geometry Electra is famous for. Click here to read the mini-review.
