Chileno Valley Cycling Classic Benefits Youth Mountain Biking
Originally posted on August 27, 2009 at 15:22 pmThe Chileno Valley Cycling Classic—a fundraising ride benefiting the NorCal High School Mountain Bike Racing League—will take place on Saturday, September 26th, 2009 at the Baumann Ranch near Petaluma, California. The ride will offer both recreational and competitive cyclists the opportunity to participate in a well-organized ride with options of 40, 60 and 100 miles. The course promises breathtaking scenery, gorgeous roads and challenging but not overwhelming climbs.
Fully stocked aid/rest stations will be positioned throughout the course. Upon returning from the ride, participants will roll into the “Chileno Valley Feast” and the post-ride party—with music, gourmet garden dining, and prize drawings.
The CVCC is limited to the first 100 registrants who agree to raise at least $250 in donations. Top fundraisers will win prizes, including a Gary Fisher HiFi Pro mountain bike and a Gary Fisher Presidio cyclocross bike. Click here to find out more information and to register.
