For the second year in a row, Interbike will head east after the annual Las Vegas trade show, and roll into Providence, RI for the OutDoor Demo East expo. New for 2009—two days of the event will be open to the general public, giving the cycling community an opportunity check out the latest and greatest gear. Local race promoters GSD will also be hosting the Providence Cyclocross Festival as part of the weekend’s festivities.

OutDoor Demo East will take place at Roger Williams Park in Providence—a large urban park located just south of downtown Providence that includes a road loop for road and commuter bike testing and two off-road trails that run along and around the park’s lake for mountain and cyclocross bike testing.

2009 OutDoor Demo East Dates

  • Thursday and Friday, October 8th & 9th – Trade-only expo

  • Saturday and Sunday, October 10th & 11th – Interbike Festival open to the general public
