Whiteface Mountain Bike Park in Wilmington, NY kicks of its 2008 mountain biking season on Friday, June 20th. Discounted lift tickets will be available via www.downhillmike.com for Saturday and Sunday (June 21st–22nd), as part of the Second Annual Hcor Days. Here’s the skinny on the grand opening weekend schedule of events:

Friday

  • Mountain open 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.

Saturday

  • Mountain open 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.

  • Trials show at the Lake Placid Center for Arts 7:00 p.m.

  • Free showing of Lucent Productions’ Free Delivery at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts from 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m (featuring a product toss, and samples of Lake Placid Pub & Brewery’s tasty microbrew). Donations accepted at the door will benefit the Tara Llanes Road to Recovery Fund.

  • After party at Lake Placid Pub & Brewery 9:00 p.m. till ????

Sunday

  • Mountain open 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.

  • Live music performed by Damaged Goods from 2:30pm to 4:30 p.m.
