Downhill Qualifying Snowshoe World Cup

The stage is set for a monumental showdown tomorrow for the final of this year’s Downhill World Cup. Tracey Hannah set the fastest time for the woman during qualifying with her closest rival Marine Cabirou coming in second and newly crowned world champ Myriam Nicole finishing with the third-fastest time today.

Danny Hart not sitting down and you know why.

In the men’s field, Danny Hart blazed the way followed by Loic Bruni. Notably missing today was local favorite Neko Mullaly after suffering a broken bone in his foot during yesterday’s practice session. The Americans still made themselves noticed however putting in a couple of top ten qualifying runs.

The fans have been filtering into Snowshoe throughout the day and tomorrow’s race is sure to be a barn burner. Stay tuned for mullets and overalls.
