The season opener for the Big Mountain Enduro series took place last weekend outside Santa Fe, New Mexico. Glorieta Camps in Glorieta, New Mexico, has pristine trails located on a Christian-run, adventure-focused campground. The trails here range from beginner/intermediate to advanced, and the race course is no joke with serious drops and lots of kitty-litter sand. The ponderosa pines offer some welcome shade from the strong high desert sun but any rider not used to the dry air and altitude has some extra work cut out for them. It’s worth it though, with some of the most beautiful riding around. Our friend Teddy Jaramillo raced in the Pro Open for Transition Cycles and sent us some photos and video of the race. Here are a few highlights. Check out the full race results here.
