If you missed it last week Shimano has released the newest addition to their family of componentry in GRX. Geared (pun totally intended) towards gravel, cyclocross and adventure riding, Shimano builds on their existing road platforms by offering components to meet the demands of steeper and more grueling terrain. The GRX group will be offered in both double and single front chainring options and two lengths of rear derailleur cages to accommodate a wider set of gear clusters.

GRX will be available in both Di2 electronic shifting as well as mechanical shifting and there are both 11 and 10-speed platforms. For all the finer points check out GRX over at Shimano and enjoy this video highlighting the new GRX.
