Canyon Releases the New Neuron

Around the office we often discuss that the 130mm bike might be the perfect all-around set up. Enough suspension travel to get loose when the going gets rowdy but snappy enough to hang in the hammer rides. Canyon has officially updated the Neuron and looks like a stone cold killer. With clean good looking lines and  innovations like an integrated cable channel, an industrial grade long life bearing concept, and an Impact Protection Unit to prevent your levers from smacking the top tube in a crash. Triple Phase Suspension delivers small bump sensitivity, a stable platform for pedaling and pumping out of corners, and a progressive end stroke so you only use the last bit of that 130mm when you absolutely need it. The Neuron is the do-it-all bike that can be a great first serious MTB for a beginner or an ultimate tool for multi-day tours or stage races.

Have a look for yourself at this handsome machine, hopefully we’ll be able to get our hands on one of these to see how it handles the diverse East Coast terrain.

The Neuron will be available in three unisex builds and two women specific builds, see pricing below.

Neuron CF 8.0 $3499 w/GX Eagle
Neuron CF 9.0 SL 4799 w/XO Eagle
Neuron CF 9.0 Unlimited 6999 w/XX1 and DT Swiss XMC 1200 wheels.
and two women-specific builds:
Neuron WMN CF 8.0 w/GX Eagle $2999
Neuron WMN CF 9.0 w/XO Eagle $3999

Enjoy some of Markus Greber’s photography of the Neuron out in the wild.
