Video: Tutti Frutti Epic Tour with Hans Rey and Brian Lopes
Originally posted on April 26, 2017 at 9:00 amThe “Tutti Frutti Epic” MTB Tour is a one-day bucket list ride that includes most of the new and existing trails at the Carosello 3000 Mountain Park in the resort town of Livigno in the Italian Alps.
The 45km tour feels like an endless rollercoaster. It includes only a few hundred meters of uphill pedaling, since all the trails can be accessed by gondolas and chairlifts. Riders don’t have to be as qualified as Hans Rey and Brian Lopes, but they can have as much fun. All of the trails are either red or blue (intermediate or beginner), suitable for most skill levels and perfect for cross-country, all-mountain or enduro bikes.
The local trail crew has built so far over 25 kilometers of purpose-built flow trails. Add to this the already-existing network of natural trails and you have over 3500 meters (11,500 feet) of vertical descent.
The Carosello 3000 Mountain Park will open on June, 24th (check this link for info & rates). Due to new gondola constructions during summer 2017 the trails can’t be ridden in the same sequence as shown in the film.
