Video: ‘Martyn Ashton – Back on Track’

Legendary trials rider Martyn Ashton was paralyzed from the waist down when he broke his back in September 2013 during a stunt demo at a Moto GP. A 10-foot fall from a high bar resulted in severe damage to his spinal cord and a dislocated T9 and T10 vertebrae. Ashton, best know recently as the star of the Road Bike Party video series, was told he would never walk or ride again. But now, in this inspiring video, he is on a bike and indeed riding in the United Kingdom’s Snowdonia mountains along with friends Danny MacAskill, Chriss Akrigg and Blake Samson.

While it’s great to see Ashton back on a bike, it isn’t just any bike. It was specially prepared and modified for him. Learn more about it here.
