A huge and heartfelt thanks goes out to the more than 3,600 attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and volunteers who made Dirt Rag Dirt Fest presented by Pivot Cycles possible this year. Special thanks to the Army Corp of Engineers and the Friends of Raystown Lake for providing an incredible venue and working hand-in-hand with us to make Dirt Fest happen each year.  Most importantly, we thank the Raystown Mountain Bicycling Association and Rothrock Outfitters in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Without their tireless efforts organizing and orchestrating, Dirt Fest just wouldn’t happen.

As a non-profit event, all proceeds from Dirt Fest are donated to the Friends of Raystown Lake, a 501C-3 non-profit that is responsible for the stewardship of the natural and recreation aspects of the area. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to donate more than $12,000 in 2014 and we will again this year. If you love riding the Allegrippis Trails we encourage to you learn more and become a member at their website.

At Adventure Fest, you choose your own adventure and ride your own pace. All routes will be signed and mapped. Just grab your crew, a map and cue sheet and hit the road. All rides will have aid stations and sag support should you need it. Otherwise, start when you want, ride your pace and finish when you want.

Here’s just a sampling of your ride options, all of which meander through beautiful countryside on pristine secondary roads. Mixed surface rides traverse everything from smooth, car-less double track to mountainous gravel roads.

Road routes

  • 13 mile demo loop
  • 35 miles
  • 61 miles
  • 105 miles, 9,500+ feet of climbing!

Mixed surface or gravel

  • 25 miles
  • 45 miles
  • 77 miles, 7,100+ feet of climbing!

Expo and demo

Through an expansive Demo area, our industry partners will be offering test rides on the latest and greatest bicycles and gear, as well as showing off new technology. We’ll even have kayak and stand up paddle board demos, too.

Entertainment

But, Adventure Fest is about more than just riding. Friday and Saturday nights will be capped off with entertainment and free adult beverages for those 21 years of age and over. Adventure Fest isn’t just for adults; we’ll have activities for kids of all ages. Admission is free for those under 18 years of age.
