Introducing Bicycle Times Adventure Fest

Originally posted on January 13, 2015 at 14:33 pm

Here at Dirt Rag we love all kinds of riding, not just mountain biking. That’s why we launched our sister magazine, Bicycle Times, in 2009. This year we’re adding some adventure to the mix with a new event—in the spirit of Dirt Rag’s Dirt Fest—where cyclists of all types can share a weekend of riding under a canopy of spectacular fall foliage.

Join us at the inaugural Bicycle Times Adventure Fest at Lake Raystown Resort in Entriken, Pennsylvania, the weekend of October 9-11, 2015.

At Adventure Fest, you choose your own adventure and ride your own pace. All routes will be signed and mapped. Just grab your crew, a map and cue sheet and hit the road. All rides will have aid stations and sag support should you need it. Otherwise, start when you want, ride your pace and finish when you want.

Here’s just a sampling of your ride options, all of which meander through beautiful countryside on pristine secondary roads. Mixed surface rides traverse everything from smooth, car-less double track to mountainous gravel roads.
