As if riding and racing in Bike Town USA wasn’t enough of a draw, the organizers of the Enduro-X series have announced the race will air on television across the country, plus a new novice category that will let riders of any skill level get a taste for modern enduro racing.

In addition, in an effort to promote a diverse field, women can use the coupon code Wmrace14 at registration to receive half off their fee. Female riders are the fastest growing segment of mountain bikers and Enduro-X wants them to be well represented at the race.

All the Enduro-X stages take place at the Steamboat Bike Park in picturesque Steamboat Springs, Colorado. They will make use of gravity-fueled downhill tracks, cross country trails and even access roads. Detailed race schedules, course descriptions, and maps available on the Enduro-X website.

There are two chances to participate: July 19-20 and August 16-17. The Summit-X event in August will also coincide with the IMBA World Summit, a biennial event that brings together mountain bike enthusiasts, volunteers, trail builders and thought leaders with bike industry representatives, land managers and government officials from across the U.S. and around the world. The race begins with a transition start at the top of the Steamboat gondola and climbs to Storm Peak for a stage start at 10,565 feet elevation, then descends over 3,600 vertical feet on single track, double track and through the Steamboat Bike Park before finishing at the ski area base.

Early registration closes at midnight on July 12, so don’t delay. But if you can’t be there, be sure to tune in!
