Grand Junction and Whiskey Off-Road announce registration opening

Today Epic Rides officially announced January 1 as the opening day for registration in the 11th Annual Whiskey Off- Road and 2nd Annual Grand Junction Off-Road presented by U.S. Bank.

To sweeten the deal, anyone who registers for one or both events will automatically be entered to win over $7,000 in prizes via 7 Days of Giveaways, which culminates with a drawing for a sleek SCOTT Spark 910 29er valued at $4,800.

Featuring SCOTT Sports athlete Lesley Paterson, winner of the 2013 Whiskey Off-Road pro female category, the snarky #7DaysofGiveaways video includes information regarding each day’s giveaway item provided by Official Epic Rides event sponsors.

As the sport of mountain biking flourishes in the United States, Epic Rides continues to lead the charge by giving mountain bikers a New Year’s resolution worth keeping. The vision doesn’t stop there though, Epic plans on upping the ante with four national events slated for 2015, two of which being the Grand Junction and Whiskey Off-Road events.

By developing a format that combines a festival like atmosphere with rider access to some of the most beautiful trails and unique terrains in the country, the Epic Rides Off-Road series focuses on an environment that remains friendly to beginners, weekend warriors, kids, families, and pros alike.

The 2014 Epic Ride’s Off-Road Series will kick off April 25-27 with the Whiskey Off-Road in Prescott, Arizona, followed by the Grand Junction Off-Road presented by U.S. Bank in Grand Junction, Colorado, August 29-31.
