Santa Cruz Super Enduro is back!

Originally posted on July 10, 2013 at 15:47 pm

The Santa Cruz Super Enduro is back for a second year at the Soquel Demonstration State Forest October 11-13, with the race itself running Saturday October 12.

The Santa Cruz Super Enduro will offer a larger, more inclusive field than last year’s inaugural event. However, spots are still limited and expected to fill fast — so would-be participants are encouraged to note the registration dates on their calendars and sign up as soon as registration is open.

General registration will open Sunday, August 4 at 8 a.m. Early registration will be offered to participants of the California Enduro Series (CES) Thursday, August 1 at 12 a.m. CES participants will receive a registration code by email prior to August 1. Reserved spots must be claimed by 11:59 p.m. Saturday, August 3. Unused CES spots will be added to the general registration pool as of 12 a.m. August 4.

The Santa Cruz Super Enduro is set to run as a weekend-long event filled with racing, riding and rad activities to enjoy with good friends, on some of the best trails in Santa Cruz with camping offered virtually on-site at Camp Loma.

The mission of the SCSE is to support the demand for quality enduro race opportunities in California, to promote the world class mountain biking trails in Santa Cruz County and to bring awareness to the Santa Cruz community at large about mountain biking and the positive role it can play economically, socially and environmentally.

The SCSE is excited to partner with those interested in helping to build on its success and contribute toward the growth of the Santa Cruz cycling community. Sponsorships are available; contact [email protected] for more information. Special thanks goes to Cal Fire for their support of the event, and to the current 2013 sponsors for their generosity:
