Oh, there’s one more thing… A new Santa Cruz Heckler

Steve Jobs was famous for introducing new Apple products at the end of his presentations with “one more thing”, and after we got a look at the all-new Santa Cruz Solo and the revised Tallboy2 last week, there was one other trick up the company’s sleeve.
The Heckler, one of the brand’s longest-running and most loved models, is back in its seventh generation, updated with all the modern standards, technologies and the progressive geometry of the Bronson.
Oh yeah, and the wheels are bigger too.
While the Heckler has been a popular 27.5 conversion for years (we tried it back in 2008), the new version is designed around the “tweener” size, with 150mm of simple, sturdy, single-pivot travel. A Santa Cruz says, it’s for the kind of rider who only has one tool in the toolbox: a hammer.
Other details include a 142×12 thru axle out back, a tapered head tube up front and a single collet axle pivot between the two. It’s also lighter and stiffer than its predecessor.
