A special offer from a big fan

Actor Woody Harrelson was in our hometown of Pittsburgh recently shooting a movie, and a friend of Dirt Rag was tasked with taking the budding mountain biker on a few rides while he was here. When we found out he was in town, we sent him some copies of the magazine and a T-shirt. Now he’s returning the favor for Dirt Rag readers.

Harrelson’s latest work, "Bullet for Adolf", a play he co-wrote and directed, is running now at New World Stages off-Broadway in New York. Dirt Rag readers can get tickets for $46,50, instead of the regular $66.50.

The story Harrelson wrote with friend Frankie Hyman goes like this: During the summer of 1983, in the sweltering heat of Houston, an unlikely friendship is formed when a couple of mid-western rubes with uncertain futures meet up with a slick New Yorker on the run from his past. The disappearance of a WWII artifact sets off a chain of events that proves that nothing changes the present like a blast from the past. The characters that populate this new comedy are based on real people, though the events depicted are fiction and the names have been changed to protect the not-so-innocent.

The show runs now through September 9, so you better hurry. Visit www.BroadwayOffers.com or call 212.947.8844 to purchase tickets and use the code FABLT4A712.
