Interbike 2011: KS Lev Adjustable Seatpost

Originally posted on September 13, 2011 at 23:14 pm

KS is set to release their all-new Lev adjustable seatpost in early 2012. The post’s remote-control cable routes directly into the stationary (lower) portion of the hydraulic post, therefore the cable does not move up/down when the post is actuated. Very clean.

The cable entry point is adjustable through a full 360 degrees of rotation, which makes cable routing a breeze on just about any frame. The inner wire is regular derailleur cable and the housing is standard 4mm.

The Lev sells for $395 and comes in 27.2, 30.9 and 31.6mm diameters. Available in overal post lengths from 300 to 430mm, and the following travel options: 75/100/125/150mm. At about 450gm, the Lev is around 100gm lighter than the other adjustable posts in the KS lineup.
