Announcing the Dirty Kanza video contest winner

The votes are in and Ben Thornton is the winner of the 2011 Dirt Rag / Dirty Kanza 200 video contest, sponsored by GoPro. The unpredictable Kansas weather forced many racers to throw in the towel. Ben fought through the wind, rain and mud to finish. Best of all, he kept filming. For the uninitiated, the Dirty Kanza 200 is a grueling 200-mile gravel road race through the Flint Hills of Kansas. The views are amazing, the terrain is far from flat, and the weather is predictably unpredictable.

Congratulations, Ben!
