NiteRider: Same price, twice as bright

NiteRider has been lighting your ride since 1989, and now thanks to the rapidly advancing LED technologies on the market, they’ve been able to effectively double the light output of their lineup for 2012 while keeping prices steady.

At the top of the lineup is the new Pro 3000 LED. Yes, you read that correctly, 3,000 lumens. The six LEDs can be fully programmed by the owner to customize brightness, flashing and settings. Run times range from 90 minutes to 36 hours(!) 812 grams. $699.

The Pro 700 is now the Pro 1500. Two versions are offered, standard and Race, with a 6 cell or 4 cell battery respectively. The standard model is programmable, while the Race model is pre-programed with three settings plus a flash mode. Run times range from 90 minutes to six hours. 435 grams. $549.

The MiNew line gets a big upgrade too, with a MiNewt Pro 750 topping the range, with a 90 minute to 10 hour runtime and weighing in at 245 grams. $249.

The cordless models now clock with at 600 and 350 lumen versions, which feature an integrated battery for a simple, one-piece system. $149 and $109.

The MiNewt USB now sits at 300 lumens, making the popular commuting light even better. $99.

Commuters on a budget can also take advantage of the Mako line of "be-seen" lights that are powered by AA batteries. $24.99-$49.99

NiteRider says they expect the lights to be hitting your local bike shop in late July.
