Modeling the group is this custom steel Black Cat 29er built for SRAM and featured on their Dirt Tales blog as part of a road trip to the North American Handmade Bicycle Show in Austin, Texas.
SRAM is also introducing two new chainring options for riders in need of lower gears.
The two new sizes, 38/24 and 36/22, are aimed at meeting the needs of 29er and all-mountain riders. Both chainring combinations use the common 104mm bolt circle diameter, with a chainring spider that positions the rings for a 2x chainline.
A new front derailleur option is also in the works. Stay tuned for more information.
