As you’ve surely seen the ads on the Dirt Rag web site, you’ll know that the Black Hills Fat Tire Festival is set to get rad May 28th through 30th in Rapid City, South Dakota.

This event promises all kinds of interesting racing and organized rides. For starters, there will be several races:

  • X-Country
  • Super D
  • BHFTF King/Queen of the Hills
  • Racing Categories
  • Dirk’s Draw Downhill Race (New in 2010)
  • Fat Tire Trail Challenge
  • Rapids Triathlon

If you’re not really into the competitive thing, you’ll definitely find a ride to tickle your fancy here:

  • Sundance and Bearlodge Mountains Ride
  • Mickelson Rails to Trail Ride (MTR)
  • Centennial Trail (EPIC) 60
  • Single Track Rides
  • On Your Own Rides (O.Y.O.R.)
  • Fat Tire Freerides

And when you’re all done with your riding, there are plenty of other activities to keep you occupied:
