Headed to the Teva Winter Mountain Games? Be sure to bring your camera. The Mountain Click Photo Competition presented by Photobucket will award $2,000 in cash prizes to the best photos taken during the Winter Teva Mountain Games presented by Eddie Bauer, taking place in Vail, Colorado, February 10-12, 2012.

Amateur and professional photographers are welcome to enter the competition, and all competitors receive media credentials to access viewing areas not granted to the general public. After clicking their way through three days of outdoor sporting events, live concerts and mountain culture, participants submit up to three photos to a judging panel comprised of professional sport and outdoor photographers.

Photos may be submitted to the following categories:

Performance: Sports and action images that define the Winter Teva Mountain Games presented by Eddie Bauer.

Vibe: Images that capture the Games’ mood, humor and personality.

Mountain Magic: Artistic, digitally altered images from the Games that make a unique visual impact.

The independent judging panel includes award-winning photographer David Clifford, who leads Rock and Ice Magazine’s annual photo camp, Lucas Gilman, a finalist in the Red Bull Illume worldwide photography competition, and Keith Ladzinski, whom the British Journal of Photography named as one of the world’s top four adventure photographers.
