The National Bike Summit, held this week in Washington D.C., is a gathering of voices from the bicycle industry, advocacy groups and concerned citizens to make their case to Congress for making "strategic transportation invenstments that foster healthy people and healthy communities."

The show, hosted by the League of American Bicyclists, is highlighted by keynote speakers Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood and Commissioner of the New York City Department of Transportation Janette Sadik-Khan. Other activities include workshops, seminars and meetings with members of Congress.

Our own Bicycle Times editor Karen Brooks is there, and if you see her say hello!
